Patience and a good tripod.

Whether in Alaska or any of the destinations I have traveled to, the rugged landscapes never cease to amaze. The journey getting to these spots becomes part of the story—part of the photograph itself. An essential part to my photographs is patience. I look at a scene not just in that particular moment, but through time. I use a combination of filters that enables me to photograph things not in spurts of one, one-hundreth of a second, but in minutes. The result is always a surprise—sometimes fluid, sometimes placid, or a combination of the two. As this site grows, so too will this content and the stories behind them.
